For the everyday issues like stress, relationships, life transitions, and emotional concerns, the Employee Assistance Program can be your confidential resource for professional support. 

The EAP includes:

  • Up to 6 free counseling sessions per issue, per year with a licensed professional counselor. Counseling sessions offered face-to-face, through text, phone, or video chat.
  • Free 30-minute consult with an experienced attorney with reduced fees for additional time and services for legal matters
  • Free 60-minute identity theft consultation should identity theft occur
  • Referrals to available care and resources for your loved ones
  • Access to Perks at Work for exclusive savings and free online classes for personal and professional development

Counseling Sessions


The Baldwin County Schools Employee Assistance Program offers a range of counseling services tailored to your needs. Whether you prefer in-person, virtual, or text-based support, professional counselors are available to help you navigate various challenges including:

Health Advocate


Health Advocate provides support for your household and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  This includes: 

  • You
  • Your Spouse and Domestic Partner
  • Married or Unmarried Dependent Children, up to age 26
  • Household Members

Financial Assistance Services


Your Employee Assistance Program offers valuable financial services designed to guide you in addressing your concerns. There is a wealth of resources included to support your financial well-being. Services include: 

  • Telephonic Assistance: Enjoy unlimited access to telephone consultations, plus a complimentary 30-minute financial counseling session per issue. Certified Consumer Credit Counselors, Certified Credit Report Reviewers, and financial planners are available to assist you.
  • Identity Theft Support: If you experience identity theft, you are entitled to a free 60-minute consultation with an identity theft specialist. Additionally, an identity theft kit and other helpful resources are available online.
  • Comprehensive Financial Guidance: Your Health Advocate experts can help you with a variety of financial issues, including spending habits, budgeting strategies, credit management, debt consolidation, financial planning, goal setting, and more.

Legal Assistance Services


Your Employee Assistance Program provides access to a nationwide panel of experienced attorneys, offering you the legal support and guidance you need. Legal experts are available to answer a variety of questions to include: 

  • Estate Planning: personalized guidance on estate planning to help you determine what would work best for your individual situation, whether it's creating a simple will, establishing a trust, or exploring other options.
  • Consultation Options: You can choose between a face-to-face meeting or a telephonic consultation, whichever suits your needs. Each legal matter qualifies for a free consultation of up to 30 minutes.
  • Exclusive Discounts: Should you decide to retain the services of a network attorney, you will receive a 25% discount on their standard fees.
  • Personalized Legal Center: Enjoy access to a legal forms library that includes an extensive selection of forms and documents.
