2026 Hospital Indemnity

Baldwin County Schools is excited to offer a new hospital indemnity plan insured by Voya Financial. The hospital indemnity plan pays when you are admitted to the hospital, whether it is a planned or unplanned admission. This includes emergencies and unexpected admissions as well as scheduled surgeries and procedures. The fixed indemnity benefits may be used as you choose to help offset deductibles, coinsurance, and other expenses. Pregnancy is covered under this benefit with no pre-existing condition exclusion or coverage restrictions.

Wellness Benefit Included


The voluntary Hospital Indemnity plan includes a wellness benefit for covered preventive screenings, including but not limited to:

  • Chest X-Ray
  • Mammogram
  • Hemoccult
  • Colonoscopy
  • CA 125 and CEA blood tests
  • Prostate specific antigen testing
  • Women's wellness
